Beautiful photo. IMO, the overall photo would be a bit better if it was k=taken at jyst a slightly more head on position, to just give a hint of the flower center. I think the off center position of the flower and dark background are supurb.

This is quite refreshing as it's not quite the same as most other flower shots. It stands out well against the background but I do thing these shots are generally more pleasing with a plain background. The lighting on this flower is wonderful and the colour saturation is lovely. Good shot, well done.
