About Was at the Indiana State Musem waiting for the IMAX theater to open when I noticed this window and liked the light. I was about to take the picture when a little boy ran up and looked out the window. I think it made the shot. His mother got on his case because the man was going to take a picture. His response gave me the title. "I was just look'n."

Really nice! The boy definitely makes the shot, and the lighting is great. I like the original cropping - the lines across the top frame the little boy nicely and adds complexity which works here.

Thanks for your kind comments Sue. I think the blue line is a reflection. I had removed it on one of the images when I was playing with it, but desided to go with the orig. picture and forgot it was there before I up loaded. I like your crop and thought about usiing almost the same thing, but I like to confusion of all the angles and the big windows. I think it creates the feeling of a whole big confusing and fascinating world a child has before them.

Awww! This sure put a warm smile on my face. Nice catch, Jon. Cute story.

Question regarding the blue stripe on the marble floor: is that a scan error, a reflection of the glass or an architectural detail? It looks like an error, and if it's not, then maybe it can be darkened or removed? OR if it's more obvious in the original and looks right, please ignore my observations.

I played with cropping a little for my own edification and curiosity, but it does really funny things to the perspective angles. It's almost like the darkness above stablizes the jumble of angles. I'll attach it but it's not much help, I think.

BTW, I really like your picture "Lines". Fascinating to look at.

Take care,
Sue :^D
