Good shot of the interaction between these two great birds of prey. Are there young birds in the nest? Still wish there was a way of getting a higher vantage point for these shots. How about climbing the next power pole with a tree climber for deer hunting. Just kidding, they would probably arrest you for that.

Craig the pole is actually a power pole which is still in use. you have to stay back from the pole other wise you are right under it.so I stay back about 30 yards and use the 300MM. no elevation to use within 1/4 mile.

Another great picture showing such great action. They sure have a lot of sticks on top of that pole. These birds look like they are pretty big. At least a big wingspan. Great work again. Don.

...just like Mom and Pop and maybe some kids, the American Dream etc. Nice shot! I take it that's one of those man-made osprey nest poles?-- ther're used out here too because so many of the snags the birds used to use are gone.
