Thank you, David. The main technique used was "smooshing" around the emulsion with a wide popsicle stick. I did increase Yellow and Magenta filtration when making the print from the 35mm slide (via enlarger), then had to desaturate those colors from the bottom (fog) half of the resulting print after scanning it into Photoshop. Also cleaned up a couple of black artifacts left from pressing too hard on the emulsion.

Very nice work, Karen.
Please, click on this link:(http://www.usefilm.com/image/186464.html), read my comment and say something to Mr. Tamer. Thank you very much.

Great manipulation. I particularly like the orange sky, which almost doesn't look manipulated (unless you look closely).

That's quite an ominous fog bank coming over the bridge, Karen. Wonderful use of manipulated media. Looks like shockwaves before the last second of the end. You could have put this one under the "alternative process" subject, too. Well done.

Wonderful image, well composed with interesting colours. Quite a lot of compression though which does spoil our viewing. The original must be excellent.

This technique works nicely for this image. Is this all done by pushing around the emulsion or was there anything else involved?
