Did not see your question until I already submitted my previous comment. I did not think about it when viewing because it works well here and the composition is nice, but now that you mention it; I think perhaps it would have been stronger if shot vertically. But cute and endearing nonetheless.

If you were planning to keep the wall/door in the middle of the frame, I would say that vertical would look way too cut in half. Even in this shot I find the wall/door running right through the middle slightly distracting. This has an almost retro feel to it, and the expression on the bride is great. Cheers

Oh, I do have a question on my shot here....do you think this could've been better shot vertically....in some ways I am kicking myself for shooting it this way...oh well!
