Wayne, not only they weren't listening, they were running away. Sorry to say but the gentleman cannot play the violin to save his life. I have a couple of shots featuring him which I might upload later.
I agree with Siddarth, his head looks way too hot, but hard to control that...

Just a bit of extra info: A busker playing in an area of Melbourne, VIC, Australia. There were a lot of people around, but none seemed to be listening to him. Pity about the excessively contrasty lighting.
I like this Wayne, very excellent use of dof, I would like to have seen his hand not cut off though. Tell us more about it though, what is this, a street festival, is this gentleman just playing for money on the corner, etc.
hey..lovely shot..i like the out of focus people in the b/ground, it adds to the 'alone' feeling! I just wish his head wasnt in the sun the way it is..maybe if he were sitting entirely in the shade..anyway..these things cant be controlled sometimes i guess!
