Hello hello! Very nice to meet you! You really do look very English! Is that good or bad? Hihi... I like englishmen, so take it as a compliment! I think this is a great shot, especially because the eyes are so focused and there is something interesting behind those eyes! And 54... You definitely don't look like that! I would have guessed at least 10-15 years less!

Agree on DOF Paolo but my wife took it and knows nothing of aperture priority settings!
(Perhaps I should have set it for her)

A shallower dof would be adviceble in close portraits, but the important is to see you well.
