About My girlfriend and I waited till after sunset and let the crowds disappear. A man stood in the arch and seemed to gaze in awe at its magnificence. I saw this shot earlier and liked the leading lines in the foreground but wanted to wait for the right opportunity. Not only did my patience earn a non suspecting model, but I was rewarded with leading lines from the clouds and a unique purple hue to the sandstone as well. I could seriously shoot in Arches National Park for weeks! What a wonderful place!
