Hi Roger,This is an amazing thing to be seen in every April, as bleak winter sky clears up, and in flows gentle spring’s breeze which carries on its wings the beautiful white and pink petals of Cherry Blossoms, fluttering to ground just like snowflakes...;) Best of regards,riny

Thank you, Nanda. Like most small Japanese rivers it has concreted banks and looks more like a canal than a river. But once every few years it turns into a raging torrent filled to the very top. Then we are glad of the concrete banks!
