Way to go Chad on that cropping - I like that alot. It takes this nice, but rather regular snapshot, and turns it into an interesting photograph. Now Chloe looks intriguing, and we can focus on her eyes and charming little paws.

Ok, I tried a few more crops and this is what I came up with, I think it does help the photo some 8-) Thanx for the tip!

Thanx for the idea, I will try cropping it a little and different ways to see what happens. I just wanted to say about the eyes being in focus, I too do that as well and that was the best I could do with the little point and shoot digital that it was taken with. It won't let me focus manually and it focuses right before the shot each time so if Chloe moves it will focus on whatever is in the middle (No AE lock).

A classic tabby shot - I like it. this is one of those pictures I love to play around with, cropping it in all different manners, for example - cropping down to just the right eye and most of the nose and paws remaining?? - sometimes can get some really interesting effects from a regular pose. I am also learning to make sure that the eyes of an animal are in perfect focus - Chloe's are a little soft I think.
