About Self portrait shot last fall. For non-climbers, the title refers to being un-roped, which I was when I shot this. All for my new passion!

This is funny - ideas for the next time you try it: shoot more from below to capture the view from the hands owner. Smaller aperture to get more detail further up.

Dramatic and well done. This definitely tells a story. I like the composition with the expanse of rock ...

Thanks everyone for the comments! I have been having computer problems and wasn't sure the picture posted. I like the idea of adding rope and a 'biner, maybe reaching to clip in, to give a more dynamic feel. Also, I have converted this to b/w, which is the only editing I can do with my primitive computer, and literally flipped a coin to pick which to send. Thanks again!

I think this is pretty funny at the same time pretty intersting. This has alot of potential to be be better, that said, this is a sick shot on it's own :) How does black and white fair with it? I'd imagine that this would put more attention on the situation at hand (pun intended) so as not having the (wonderful) colours as a distraction. :)

LOL! What if you were to add a rope end and 'biner hanging from above! Very funny! I like it!
