your habit is what many don't dare to even dream of!! and that is because they are not certain on what their mind tells them. so unlike your boldness mixed with appreciation.
as i said earlier, commnts like yours is what make me think more about what i do. and when those little efforts of mine are appreciated to that degree, what is left for me than soar!! :)

i exactly know what trouble colours might face us with, not just in this case, but any.
they seem to either distract of give a strong impact on what they complement. the trick is always finding the right balance, which like in any work is a rather subjective thing which then kind of relativises the matter.

Because this photo disturbed me, I've been going through your portofolio again, trying to understand the universe populated with imponderable creatures which you reveals us and where exhales a singular melancholy , which shines with a sad brightness. It's like seeing Goya's demons through the astigmatic eyes of El Greco, and painting them using the symbols and colors of Bosch.
It's a twisted and mindshaking experience, but an excellent one....... Gabriella

Ania explained very well, love specially the black eyes and mouth creating a spooky black triangle; the ethereal image fuisoned with the bkg is a plus in my opinion, the touch of color probbaly is not the cup of tean of many people but works for me, perhaps I've just toned down a bit the blues
anyway very refreshing image as always
