About	Taken at Jagannathghat. This aged lady had this much of space for living. She is widow, she does not have anybody in her family. She cooks, eats, sleeps in the same place. The day this photo has been been taken, next day the whole place caught fire. Next I could not find the lady. Her apartment was no more there. Morning at Jagannath Ghat, Calcutta, 2008

I have walked past many places like this in India before I became interested in photography and so could not see the world as I do now. Thanks for the 'about' it brought back memories and a reminder of how lucky we are..
