well I am so happy for to visit Istanbul,
I am so glad to serve as well,
there are so many places to view this show,it is the 800year anniversary for the Molovi cult founder birthday,
the two official shows are at Hodjapasha cultural center, and it is the one that I attend this year,
the other is at Sirkeci Train station.
there is no restriction for photography, but there is restriction to flash light,
my recommendation is to have a lens with 2.8 F ,A a zoom up 135mm , and a camera with 3200 ISO,
that it is all what you need to do good photos at some what dim light.
I haven't posted any shot from the new ceremony ,this shot is done at a time when I know so much less about professional cameras, and it was a surprise by the medical council that I attend to show us this ceremony of only two Dervish,it was unlisted show.
hope you good journey, shots, and great time, and this is I am sure about,
Saad.

As mentioned, cropping in from the right would improve what is already a good shot.I'll be in Istanbul in September and would like to see these Dervishes. Is there any place you would recommend....are there any restrictions on photography in these places?I'd be most grateful for any feedback Saad.
Best regards, Tony

You should be proud of this Saad. My only criticism would be, theres too much black area on the right. A crop would have helped it. Lovely exposure though.

A good idea and a good perspective for a diagonal balance of darkness and subject, Saad! A balance that still enhances the perspective though it works primerily on the plane of the image. I am also especially impressed by the plasticity of the flattering dress of the Dervish in the middle. A very well managed balance of exposure for transitions of light and shadow, which always enhances the 3D-feel of objects on an image. The Derish's dress on the right shows that to a lower degree due to stronger light there, but still the plasticity is preserved too.

Cheers!

Nick

Outstanding, I would be proud to have created this work, the simplicity of black and white was the wise choice. Well done Saad

nice composition Saad; there are some artifacts (white spots, difficult to see if you don't tilt the monitor) above the head of the man in the center and below the man on the right (hand view) very easy to correct
anyway, very interesting as usual
hugs....txules
