You are exactly right. I checked with my neighbor. The Bengal cats go back to ancient Egypt. He is very proud and independent. But he cries when he wants something. That is because he cannot bark.
Wow, what a beautiful Cat, I would like to know what kind of cat this is if any one knows for sure. I got my Cat book out and it looks like a I seen a Manx breed there is a cat with the same marking but it is yellow and has know tail. There is another Cat that is called the American Shorthair, and sounds like it is related to the Serval was domesticated by the egyptians, but it really doesn't look like the cat. Thanks for shareing what ever kind of cat it is it is beautiful, the picture is sharp, with great detail and clarity, the lighting looks perfect, excellent job. BK
