About cropped and contrasted but otherwise how it came.
Mainly liking how the light behind the original clump of trees has created a blown out white frame for the smaller trees to be drawn in however I can also see a goth face in the trees left, if only it was looking into the centre of the frame! :)

Again the same "aquarell" look and feel but this time on paper rather than on fabric, Ian. All those smooth transitions mixed up with each other introduce much of that look for my eyes. And this one doesn't convey as much "speed" as the other did, so it enhances the brush strokes as generators of the aquarell rather, than the motion of the camera.

About the "face"... I think I see that too, if I try, but to me this is not any permanent impression. The rest of the landscape is.
