Thanks Ray, good to hear from you. Happy New Year!! Glad you liked the country humor I chose for this image. I found it in a book of cowboy poems from the Northwest. The drift has slipped away from the window with a warm spell, still plenty of snow to navigate. Be well, Stan

Sometimes I would like to be some where else when the wind is blowing and it is -30F. There is something to a warm house at those times. This was a big storm, usually only a few are like this over the winter. Have a good weekend, Stan

Thanks Gerhard, I can imagine what the snow did to the traffic. Where I live we were unable to drive out for a week.. The snow was over a meter deep for 1km on our access road.

The poem was by anonymous, found it in a cowboy way book of poems. It just found a cord in my heart. I see you thought it looked like a monster trying to get in. I thought that too! Hope you have a great week, I am really behind on comments. I need to get out and look at some others work today. Be well, Stan

Hi Dave, I am a sicko because I actually like this stuff. I had to laugh as this drift built up against our kitchen window as the wind was howling. I thought the poem was very appropriate. Have a great new Year, be well, Stan
