Thanks for the comment Howard. I think you are right - it works very well in B&W too. There is a certain smoothness in her skin which is emphasised with the monochrome.

Very nice picture, Halid. Background is simple, nothing is surrounds the little girl's portrait which would detract from it.

A monochrome print of this might be good also, if the hair and the green background don't merge into the same tone - hard to tell without trying it. If you have Photoshop 5.5 or later, you could extract the figure from the green background and slightly lighten the background layer.
