Well, what else can I do when I am not allowed to say what I want to say, and I am not even allowed to say that I am not allwoed to say what I want tosay? (Don't worry, I also can't understand the previous sentence! ;-))

Ha ha ha. A very fine roller-coaster trip that UF make you take because of a *word* !!!!

But yes, I do agree, this doesn't really look all charming as I was thinking.. so let's just put it aside for now, and light another one !

smeers !! (that's a smoke-cheers !)

Sorry for the extreme inconvenience, Avi, but this could be useful to know. The problematic word was: ban*ed, which I used instead of forbidden in my message. Now I am confused. Is that word offensive? I thought it means just to exclude something by law from the allowed things in some society, system, whatever. :-/

Cheers!

-- Portion 4 --

So, from the physical point of view this universe is rejected. But perhaps from the photoshopographical point of view it could be accepted as an amateuric try to mimic what happens in some old good bar where smoking still hasn't been forbidden in the name of hysterical screams for "perfect protection of our health". ;-) Just imagine yourself there and let's have another one!

Cheers!

-- Portion 3 --

Alone the fact that we consciously exist and pose questions *now* allows knowing how it can't have been back then, limiting thus the palette of possible designs of the universe - that's more than impressing, isn't it?

But then... such a universe wouldn't evolve in the necessary way for producing us. There wouldn't be Avi and Nick to speak about images. In fact there wouldn't be any life at all and even less conscious minds which first must exist in order for such questions to be posed. Such a universe would be likely to not develop any stable structures at all.

BTW, my message to you was longer, Avi, but the auto-filtering system of UF found something "inappropriate" in it, I guess, and so I couldn't post the whole answer. So I try posting it in portions in the hope to find the bad words. Then I use asterisks for words which the typical big*try may find offensive.

-- Portion 1 --

This must be a very young, very dense universe. But the strange thing is that the first galaxies are already formed. And the background should be rather blue shifted since the young universe was also much hotter. Perhaps a version of a universe that had to grow up early because of traumatic experiences! ;-)

I tried collaging images on a common background but it seems that I don't have any good ideas for that today. Using layers was easier to me. So, get your towel, Avi, and let's go very deep space. (Who needs Hubble, anyway! ;-)) You mean something like the attachment?

A very imperfect try to work with layers after Avi's good idea

Avi  Avi     {K:70138} 10/11/2008
not sure.. I was thinking more like collaging images on a background.. but you can try the layers too.. I always love fooling around a bit in PS :):)
cheers,

Well Avi, though I would really prefer to do some similar collage alone with camera/lens, in this case it sounds very interesting. But what type of collage did you think of? Something like pasting the images as wholes on some background or rather cutting the contained forms and putting them together using more or less transparent layers? I an very interested for that but I can't decide which way to go. Any advices??

Cheers - *universal* cheers!!! ;-)
