Not spectacular in lightning maybe, but the softnes of the light adds to the feeling of evening-peace. Great capture.

Diane.. outstanding colors.. and nice symmetry.. you are a variant photographer.. what i mean is you try to shoot different subjects and different themes just as i do. I have seen many photographers that concentrate on just one narrow spectrum in what they do.. Someday.. you should post a self portrait of yourself..

This photo is my favorite (so far!) out of your portfolio. The warm afternoon colors and the late light give it a serene feeling. I like the DOF. If you had raised the level of the camera a bit, the detailed centers of these flowers would be more prominent, and perhaps something interesting to see.

Good macro, the DOF is ideal IMO. The only small problem is the dark triangle in the bottom right corner; it is noticably darker than the rest of the pic, and so draws the eye away from the main subject.
