I see what you mean, Stan. I guess for a reference it could take a bit more of the body of the mountain.

Cheers!

Thanks Nick, I liked your suggestion, it looks good.
Guess I left mountain silhouette in as a reference. Looks good with out. Thanks.

It is very very dramatic and the light rays are powerful, Stan! The clouds look really loaded and that makes a rather electrified atmosphere. The bottom... is that needed as the image is now? What about the cropped attachment?

Nonetheless, I guess that taking much more of the mounts too would be the way to go here. The grandiosity would be even greater, I guess.

Cheers!

Nick

Another dramatic skyscape, Stan, and I like the sepia treatment.

Salmon ? Breem ? What fish ?
Oh, dont try to compare the lenses. Each of the makes you camera a different one and you have to act on their advantages. It even pays to buy a cheap simple old 50 mm 1.8 or 1.4 prime if affordable. Back to the basics but a 1.4 bring light in the darkness.
Or make it a pinhole camera, remove the lens and put a piece of carton at the opening. Pinch a pin hole in the carton. Voila.
Sorry to hear about the arm, here my head and memory get black at times. What the heck, keep breathing.

Hi Harry, I will use my prime and zoom on the same day and same series of shots to see at different settings the differences I find. Fun to push them and laugh at some of the not so prime shots from both of them. Went fishing last evening and had a great time. Only caught big one's on grasshopper imitations, 15" and up. Arm got tired and got dark on me. Be well, Stan

OK Stan, I remember I use to change from a prime and then the zoom in intervals of 1 or 2 months. Works refreshing.
Be well

Harry, just loving the weather and changes over my head. I like the 35-70. Seems to be clear and working well. This is as prime as I get for now. Was trying some shots to see what was working.
Be well, Stan

Sun rays are brilliant Stan. How is the 35-70 doing ?
I learned using a prime one has to walk more but gives more pure results. f/22 is optimal sharpness.
Be well
