Wow Barbara . . . this was almost 4 years and two cameras ago! Thanks VERY much for looking so deeply. Few people seem to feel the little chicks are cute (except perhaps chickens, ducks and Quail who hatch with down) . . . but I've always enjoyed the little guys!

I like your bird photos. I'm an avid birder myself, and would love to expand into more bird photography. The Rebel XT is the first time I've had anything like a zoom lens; We'll see where I go from here!

Thanks Lori! No pet shop . . . just a spoiled rotten animal loving wife who gets whatever she wants! Note that she'd disagree since we don't have goats or pigs (We DO live in LA). I have built aviaries and pens and we supported them by breeding them for pet stores, selling at wholesale . . . starting with birds and then adding the "furries". Luckily, I love the animals too. Feeding takes hours each day. BUT . . . I do get some photos! I'm off to feed now!
