Oh, you're too kind! Yes, we are now n the same boat. Luckily, Marlyce doesn't expire yet so I see that Phil Cohen has mentioned the issues will be dealt with in a few days (when he gets home)!

Well, this is a gorgeous shot with the variation in the colors in the water and the sense of spray.
I see your star is gone -- so now we're apparently in the same boat -- someone at UF is asleep at the wheel.
I hope to get out and take some photos this weekend -- and in my case, the limitation on uploads (as I've said) probably increases the overall quality. You, on the other hand, are a differnt story altogether.
All the best,
Maryanne

very nice wave, great capture Doyle, little bit faster would be nice to get more sharpness, but it's still a great job.

Uff, what a perfect exposure. The timing is just perfect to freeze the motion of the waves. I mean it is a simple shot, but perfectly shown nature play. Congrats my friend. Sascha

I thought you were getting into 'Alone'.. but I see that you took a 'Fresh' turn.. :) that's ok..
just a tad overexposure on the spray right above the wave..
best, Avi

We're obviously on the same "wavelength" today, Doyle! Interesting contrast in styles between "your" Pacific wave and "my" Atlantic wave. A great feeling of raw power here, as the wave smashes past the rocks...

Thanks Bobot . . . yes, it was handheld and the "beach" was rocky, being filled with large, loose rocks. Though I brought my tripod and remote . . . there was no real way to set it up and still keep my changing options open. :(
Anyway, I had come for sunset shots . . . :)

I like the form of the water just before it breaks, looking at it has a feeling of anticipating for it to break. Although not the usual crisp sharpness I see from your picture, I think you took this handheld..? very good composition and light Doyle.. regards..
