That's exactly what I do too. If the image is shot OK then it doesn't need anything except perhaps for a bit of cropping. The camera/lens should take the image, not the manipulation afterwards. So, I am completely with you on this point.
I thought really that you used a flash because of the strong reflections on the metal parts, and the "shiny" appearance and color of the face/eyes of the man. Taking it also without a flash could be a good thing, but of course only if he wouldn't move and perhaps also with something to fix the camera.

thank you Nick for this critique,I really enjoys by your opinions,I usually and most of the times do not edit my photos,apart from doing some cropping,I use ACDsee for this purpose,a program that retain all info about the photos, for this particular one yes I do use flash because it is after midnight and the lighting of the street is not enough,my best regards

A good moment for a shot, though some more contrast/focus on the face of the man could do good. The main focus appears to be on the metal parts of door to the right of the man. Perhaps also some closer zoom could help, though I don't know if then too much of the scene would be cut off.
Saad, did you used a flash here?

you words dear Aziz is the delight of my day,since the time I joined UF I sleep comfortably and even without bad dreams,this one fact the other we in Mosul and in Iraq also use the word Kemanche and Kaman for the same instrument and that is the western one,the local one we call it Rababa,my regards,

Good subject.
I believe Kemanche is also a persian word consists of two part; Keman means bow and Che as a suffix for minimizing !
Iranian Kemanche is totally different in shape .

u know the coasts of turkey on black sea, this guy is from black sea region (state) the insurments he is playing is kemenche belongs to black sea region and his nose is so typical!!!
