That's it, Saad. We look here, look there, read a bit more, try systematically, and get more experience. A nice way to go.

You are very welcome.

Oh well, Saad, you mastered the real hard work. The cloning is piece of cake if you already have such good skills in managing light/shadow, which is much much harder to get right than cloning. Cloning will be then for you... just another small exercise.

Like on the attachment.

Cheers!

Cloned off sunflower seed remainders

Saad Salem Saad Salem   {K:89003} 10/16/2008
thank you so much for the comparison,it means to me a lot,I have shadowed the shot to a degree that no single pixel have been clipped,to maintain all the details but in a dark and clear mode,as for cloning the sunflowers seeds, honestly I haven't master this kind of editing yet,all the best my dear friend,
Saad.

Hi Saad!

Oh yes, I know those sunflower seeds!!! And I know even better what happens to the remainders! ;-) OK, they are very easy to be cloned off, so not much of a problem for the image.

About Yazeed's version now, it is the one that exposed the details of the textures better, if I am not mistaken. It is a bit hard to say because his attachment is small for a very exact examination. But your version has the stronger degree of abstraction, or if you like of reduction to the absolutely main things. Yazeed allows the object to give its own definition, while you re-defined the object in your own terms.

In this case I do find it more interesting to see what it results into under such a more "schematic" re-definition as an abstraction of a shape. I don't mind then if it is not as an exact depiction but rather if the integrity of the shape is given. This is why I mind those remainders of the sunflower's seeds - they pollute the perfect look of the silhouette in darker tones.

Cheers!

Nick

Hi Nick, thank you for the opinion, the white objects are the what remains of sunflower seeds, the people used them while walking, and throw the rubbish every where,
I want to ask your opinion about the level of this particular shot,I have first gray scale it,then corrected its level, without clipping anything from the original data, and I go to the end but to be visible in proper way in my 19 inch LG lcd,the only one that objects about the degree of its luminosity is my friend yazeed, will you kindly take a look at his attachment and give your opinion about the two,the original and the attachment,my great appreciation,
Saad.

Good for the man different textures still visible on a strictly low-light image, Saad! It somehow looks very complete, self-contained if you wish. It ahs its oen power as an abstract, which I think is the result of the very good accentuation of different textures. It could be used as a big abstract on some wall.

Only the small white objects (rubbish?) could be removed from the road before shooting.

Cheers!

Nick

The right to good composition and subject. But the work needed to light up the largest of the lot. And an amendment to the tones undoubtedly .

This reminds me of the trees they all pulled out in my street, 2 years ago, which we didnt agree with, just because the roots gave some unpleasant walking...they all
had to be cut, lot of the neighbours were angry....
Wishing you a pleasant evening,
hugs Jen
