Though I can't even imagine what it is, it fully absorbs my eyes, David! If you didn't describe the very source of the shot, I would be clueless!
But that's not important. Important is that the shapes were captured in such a magnetizing way, carrying details in such a way that I can't say where exactly the details are! The shapes evolve and dissolve in front of my eyes under such a wealth of rich but not exaggerated colors!
I guess the strong contrast of the complementary yellows and blues adds much impact here! Which is futher enhanced by the good contours of the reflections of the trees on the moving water. In addition, the highlights on the right match the shadows on the left. Perhaps not letting us recognuze more of the scene, but on the other hand such an abstraction from "reality"!
