Hi sweetie, I am with you 100% regarding the extra effects and over processing an image. I don't do much with my images either as I feel over processing takes away from what photography is all about but that is my opinion, I am sure there are a ton of people that would completely disagree with my pov but we do what fits best to our lives right? :)
Thank you for the "young lady", I don't feel very young these days but that certainly brought a smile to my face as your comments always does :)
I am glad we met thru here and hope to someday meet in person, I would love that!

Hi Julie - Thank You so much for your help and information - It is much appreciated . I too have PS and do not use it ... sooooo much more to it than what I really am into - If I could just take the picture as perfect as possible and post it , this is my aim altho I do enjoy viewing images with x-tra effects it is also NOT my style at this time .

Hi Michele, the image in color had a nice tone to it. The wheel itself is already white so I didn't have to do much to it. I converted to black and white and added about 25 points of contrast and about 2 of brightness. Take a look at this program

I find it to be excellent and much easier to use than PS which I am trying to use more but I find myself using Corel more often than PS. You can download a trial version for 30 days. I recommend it you do it and play around with the features it has. It is a great program for my needs. I don't plan to spend hours working on PS or any other photo editing software so this one is just perfect for me.

Excellent POV , perspective , and PERFECT Crop - Great capture of this amazing wheel - Love the desaturation and tones (?)
Julie did you desaturate this image as in the previous to give such great tones ? I need help on desaturation :))

Very good point of view... really because of the good tight frame at the out-curve at the bottom of the image you give me the though that your camera syucked on the big wheel... really one of the best point of views I ever seen on that subject!
