About Findhorn, Moray, Scotland.
I have always maintained that Moray has some of the best sunsets anywhere in the UK and on this particular evening it was wonderful. This is actually an hour after sunset about 10.45pm on a late May evening. Despite the title, which is obviously a play on words, a play on every word in fact, I cant imagine a less depressing scene. The smooth tonal transition from blue to red and the sweeping curves and bowls was a sheer delight to my eyes. Tis a pity the group I was instructing decided to return so soon after sunset. This is probably my favourite this year.

Hi Joanna yes indeed I did. There was also 6 stops of neutral density filter to increase the exposure time greatly. Two stops were made up from a polariser and the remainder from a 4 stop ND filter.

Just beautiful Ian- did you use a neutral density graduated filter to get the well lit foreground?
