About This was taken in my unfinished house with a work light and a willing subject. Marty was showing me the 101 of what you have available for lighting and how to make it work. We were thinking dramatic portrait.

Keith, he left the Bullit at home. The pressure washer did wonders, and it was fun to be in the drivers seat with my Rebel. With some practice I think I can get the hang of it. Cheers back at you, Stan

Stan,

Oh Please, it was all in a days work ol' friend... Not that it was all that hard, but I had a great time sharing... ;)

I just can't believe you got me drunk enough to get me to model for you... hehehe

Love,

Martin

Martin, My daughter liked this one a lot. She loved Kaden's shot as well. Thanks for the help and for kicking my butt into gear. I can see the possibilities from our effort that night. I thought you were a great model and a great teacher. Thanks for your unselfish sharing of your experience. Be well friend, Stan

Dave, this was my first try at portraiture with some help and guidance from Martin. With some more practice and time the lighting will improve. Thanks for your honesty and comments. You are always welcome to comment on anything that will help the end product. Be well, Stan

Dave,

I totally agree with you 1st of all, but we were only using 1 halogen work light with no diffuser to spread the light and a big piece of Styrofoam on the other side for a fill. Very simple lighting for sure, but it works for a dramatic shadows shot, IMHO… ; )

I must visit your work very soon…

Thank you my friend,

Marty

Stan,

Wonderful detail, sharpness and composition indeed. Although the model is 1 ugly SOB... hehehe

Well seen my friend,

Martin

Well done, Stan! Possibly if their was more light on the lower part of the face (on his right side)the effect would be a little more even.
Dave.
