Ken, thanks for the encouragement. You are on, I will be submitting an update as the season rolls on.I have a good ground view vantage point and will explore the hillside south of the trees for some optional shots. Take care, Stan

Beautiful shot showing the snarly tree that's perfect for the Herons, how lucky you are to have them so close and would love to see more when the chicks are climbing around getting fed.
