About This elk herd roams in the valley where I live and in the winter they congregate in herds of several hundred - a spectacular sight! Not sporting the huge antlers as they do later in the year, this group provided a nice shot nonetheless while posing with the Rockies behind.

Nice Debra - Love the fact that you got such a great view in behind as well! It surprises me when I see these guys tat some of them are still holding on to their antlers - Shouldn't be long before we start to see new velvet on these guys...
