About I tried to get a bit more of the distance to the depth, but I don't know if the result is OK in this sense. It still looks flat, doesn't it. Any comments would be highly appreciated.

Absolutely, Saad!

It is useless to hurry things. Time will tell when it will tell.

Cheers!

I couldn't agree more with you, Saad. At that time I was not aware at all about the wide angle as a much better way to preserve the depth and the gradiosity of buildings (and other scenes too). Also, my choise of angle and PoV was not good at all, and neither were my decisions for crops. When I see such older images of mine I see that today I wouldn´t shoot them this way. For example this one is a typical case of losing almost all the potential that the scene had.

Cheers!

use a wide angle lens, add the top that is cropped and you will get a finely killed symmetry of this facets by the columns in the left and the person in the right,
Saad.

Yes, yes, yes!

And thanks a lot for the idea, Yazeed! This was what this image needed, definitely! It should be vertical and have this perspective, like you put it!

Thank you so much for this!!!!

Cheers!

Excellent? Again?

Come on Ugo, come on people, will I get some serious critiques at last?

This image is full of troubles!

Thanks a lot anyway.

Yes, maybe there was a problem. I believe that the person on the right. And top form Triangle building. Led to the emergence of the parties to the sky image. Which leads to stolen consideration to the top and distract focus on the heart of the matter .

You lucky guy in that city!!!

Thanks a lot for the nice comment, Davide, but what is a liuther? Perhaps I did take some shots od the scene you talk about and I don't even know...

Anyway, that church was indeed hard to get. But you know, a church is always wrong! It is there for the nonexisting thing that humanity ddecided to call "God"! ;-)

Cheers!

I know it's hard to get a good shot of places like this, Nick! You've got a good perspective on the lines leading into the entrance though.
Dave.

Interesante composición en la que la persona y la colunma de la izquierda se equilibran muy bien.
Felicitaciones!

Ah another pic of my city.. :-)
You're right, it looks quite flat however I think is not your fault but something wrong in that church.. :-)))
I know it because I tried many times but I was always unsatisfied...
Davide.
ps: having the church on your left side...if you walk to the next crossroad and you turn left you'll find one of the most famous and best liuther in Italy.
