Very nice shot Dave, you've done well to very nicely pickup the blue light refracted in the ice. There ain't no ice here in Texas, atleast outside of the freezer. About 30C today. lol Joe

The contours and contrasts on the cross are very very well exposed, Dave, and ice can be very tricky! I find the way you captured that extremely "exact", if I may use this word. Even the refraction of light on the many curvy surfaces pf the cross helped defining it in a very tangible way. Really, I don't imagine what the shape and form of the cross is. I *see* it directly on the image!

I think ice sculptures are amazing. It is sad when you realize they will eventually melt. It is sort of like the sand sculptures at the beach. One storm and they are also gone. Perhaps the way it was positioned you had no choice but to film from below but in any event it worked out very well because that angle captured the reflective light. Very nicely done. Del.
