I love going to go the conservatory in the winter to see some flowers, it always makes me forget how cold and gloomy winter can be. Hugs, Julie.

Coming from your this means a LOT Anson, thank you. I didn't use a polarizer. What I was trying to do with the DOF was to almost create a mirror image since there were so many orchids together. I would love to have a sun room, you're so lucky to have all these gorgeous flowers right at your fingertips. Thank you again for such great feedback, I am smiling :)

Just gorgeous, Julie, with the shallow DOF providing an unobtrusive background, but in focus enough to reinforce main subject. Perfect composition with the three orchids close enough to blend into one image. I can't see anything I would change; you either used a polarizer or didn't need one. Orchid leaves tend to be a little "shiny". I have a small orchid collection, but they are all visiting a cousin's greenhouse down the road while we get new flooring in our sun room. You have a great weekend, too. Anson

It is pretty cold here too but since this is an enclosed glass house I was able to go which is nice because I love to be around plants. Thank you for stopping by :)
