The 18mm-200mm is very versatile (VR and large zoom range) and is certainly good for a "walk-around" lens). I would rank it (on a scale of 1 to 10) a 7 for optical quality / 8 for build quality and a 9 for practicality. I will be posting a night shot of Radio City Music Hall and it is fantastic considering it was hand held at 1/15 sec (ISO 500). Let me know what you think.

Beautiful scene, Pat! Nicely done mix of foliage and delicate bare branches! If I am going to quibble, I would say that the duck is cut off too close to the edge. Also, the straggler branches at the top left could be cloned out. How are you enjoying the 18-200? It is a lens that has eluded me! Eb
