This is really deserving of the award, I have been looking at this photo and always it makes me wonder how you've come up with this compsoition of lines and different tones. you've mastered giving a twist to an ordinary scene and come up with a differnt fantatic composition.

I think it is the contrast in subject matter that makes this on stand out so well. We just don't expect a lovely smile amongst all that industrial concrete.

The hint of humanity surrounded by the massive white & grey spaces creates a focus on the face yet implies how minimal the human is compared to the surroundings.
