Hi Stan,
A printer near me made a recent print of one of my panos at a huge size and it turned out fantastic. the size was 4 feet by 6 feet.

Fantastic. Must be astonishing if prited on large paper. I can just imagine detail...
Tim, what is max paper size you were able to print? I never tried stitching images and never tried to print at extreme sizes, so I have no idea.... :)

Hi Dave,
This is a composite panoramic image. It is stitched together with around 18 images shot with the 18-200mm VR Nikon Using PTgui panoramic software. Ptgui makes it easy just click and drag your images into it and press "align"....gets kind of addictive.

PT Gui is an amazing tool, and I'm glad to see that your stitch turned out amazing. I've had a lot of luck printing with ezprints online - they may ship to Canada. If not, send the print to me and I'll keep it for "safe keeping".

Gorgeous winter scene, Tim. Well done perspective and a great job in making this appear that you used a much wider angle lens then the 18mm... maybe that appearance comes from the frame, but I was surprised.

I use PTgui software to combine all the images. It is pretty easy. It is for the most part automatic.

Great shot... and yes, I was thinking for some days now, that Tim is THE guy whose photos are BEST suited for this project !!.. wonderful start, and I am sure BIPs are just waiting in the offing !! :) :)
