Bro Kes-
Your printing is excellent. Did you burn the bottom two corners? I might have used a lighter touch there, But it's all a matter of the effect you want. It is beautiful the way it is.
I'll keep an eye out for e-mail. I have an aggressive spam filter. Try to send something from your old addy if possible, give me your new addy so I can put it on "allow" list.
Strong winds caused power lines to short and start little fires, but we were never in any danger of getting singed by the big fires. It was, however, very dark, smoky, ashy, gritty here for days.
This site needs a PM feature.....

Hey Bro Sammy! :)
"If in doubt, print it darker." Well, there is a darker print of this...
If you are going to be around for a bit there are a couple of shots from a rolleicord upon which I would enjoy having your opinion. However, they have yet to be scanned.
Currently changing emails and will advise you when all changes are said and done.
Hope all is well...hopefully the fires were not in your area of California.

Thanks Eb! What appears as a mountain range is in fact the actual sand dunes. The area from the foreground to the dunes (about 200 yards or so) is sand also. The dune field covers 30 square miles - it's one big pile of sand! :)

Very nicely done, Kes! The foreground branches just glow ith light! The dramatic sky and mountain range contrast so well with the dark tones of the dune. Eb

Thanks Dennis! Yes, I also use the large format to view UF photos...it takes longer to load - I'm on a dial-up connection - but the result is usually worth the wait.

Wow, this shot almost looks like it could be some kind of infrared landscape. One has to view it in the large format to see the great details and surreal quality to the image. Well done!
