I love this kind of photo. It bring back memories of my youth. It was common in rural America to paint large advertising signs on he side of the building. Many of the old barns in rural USA sold the space on the roof or side of barns for advertising. One of the primary buyers of this space was a chewing tobacco company. New signs have not been added in years but now and then you still see an old faded sign on the roof of an old barn. Del.
