According to your about; this place is so important for you. You have there very nice memories, traces of memories. Very naive about. This place is unique for you.
And very important point is your swimming costume. This is a really "Robe"(in French). It is so elegant and naive with its including. Nudity or bikini I always refused. This is so noble like your about. For me this is an mermaid.

thanks Stan,I must say I didn't use photoshop ( only for enhancing the colors) , I just had to pose for more than ...I don't remember the number ! Although the effect seems beautiful , it is a bit blurry but under all those circunctances ( 7 in the morning, cold etc) I find the image OK!Thank you for looking.

dear friend ,sometimes I think that our government wanted something like this to happen, I am afraid that one third of our country will be sold to big companies now , since noone will want the land there, and it will be full of concrete, factories and maybe some huge beach hotels for the rich people only....this is repulsive...I am sooo ashamed of my government.Greek people are represented by incompetent people.

I am really sorry for whay has happened in Greece, in Sicily and soputhern Italy it has been (almost) the same: criminal hands are still free to kill. That's why this image is wonderful: it's an image of life, og hope, of water water anyehere...great.

ps.panning would be a good idea in such a situation,yes, I would have used that function.

A very nice idea and exactly the right moment to let the girl look like hovering over the water. The coloring is also extremely nice. For avoiding the bluriness you could focus first at the distance to the girl (while she still stand on the rock) using some relatively wide aperture and the fastest possible shutter speed. The DoF would get narrower around the plain of the girl, but since this was the protagonist the rest of the depth could be used for contributing mainly colors but not as much detail. (BTW, do you remember your settings?)

it is a selfportrait and my husband took it after several attempts.
ps .I woke up this morning and it smells like burnt wood everywhere, many people died in my country and the fire hasn't been extinguished yet...We experience a huge ecological destruction.

I think not any more, 55 people have died because of fire and almost one third of my country is gone because of fires everywhere this very moment, we have gone crazy, people and animals die...anyway, Corfu is safe for the time being, it is a magical place , a mystic place and especially if you know secret places like me!Thank you for looking!
