I should firstly apologize for the delay in reply, Olga!
In plays, Because of the actual physical distance between you and your viewers,you exaggerate the facials;while in movies since such distance does not exist your facials are almost without any exaggeration,therefore more natural.
Personally, I like the natural facials better.
