About I took this at Mammoth Hot Springs in Yellostone Park. It was amazing ]to see, and looked strange but beautiful. This was made, and is still being made by the boiling water underground melting the silica and a constant running water all over it distributes the melted rock and it gradually builds these formations. As you can see, they slowly spread through the trees.
