About After a long, difficult hike up a rocky ravine to a hilltop, Mrs. Bogen failed to perform satisfactorily, as she was often want to do. The man gave her a long hard look, and turned to walk away. Then suddenly, without warning, he grabbed her by the legs and whirled her high in the air and smashed her head against a large boulder. As her head popped off and bounced away amongst the brush and rubble, he flung her spindly remains off the cliff with all his might. A few seconds later, after a small clatter was heard in the distance, a feeling of peace and tranquility filled the man and he said with a soft voice of complete satisfaction; "that felt good."

photography is passion, lol.

..most likely not something I would do to a cf pod. I'm looking for something light...either a Gitzo or Slik cf, however the gitzo 1026 aluminum is very light and compact. And cheaper! I am also considering 4 section over 3 section for the reduced size.

decisions, decisions!
:)

That's a nice tripod you have.
How do you like the "G-lock"? I assume that is some sort of fast-twist lock/unlock device.

I wonder why you call your now deceased tripod Mrs. BOgen- I mean in Danish bogen means "the book" and secondly a tripod reminds me so much of you males so it must be a mr.;-)Take care and maybe you should consider throwing dwarfs.

I'd hate to be your camera! There's two things I could never hurt, one is teddy bears, the other a camera. Tripod's probably don't count.
Regards, Gary

Quite a coincidence really. One of the handles fell off my old tripod last week. Also one of the aluminum threads is starting to seize up on one of the legs. Maybe it will end up at the bottom of the river soon :)

Thanks Rebecca, glad you liked it...

...the man sat down at the edge of the cliff and squinted his eyes against the last rays of the setting sun as he looked across the valley below. He had often thought that she was secretly laughing at him. He slowly rubbed the stubble of his beard and with a sly grin muttered to himself; "she ain't laughing now".

:)

Hi Andre.

...over twenty years of companionship...and still, he felt no regret for what he had done...

It was the little stuff, you know.

That unpredictable twitch in the neck. Always threatening to drop things. Never being there when needed...the woman had so many loose screws she couldn't stand up straight half the time. Nope, no regrets....
