About The Santa Maria Mission is on the Acoma Reservation in McCarty's New Mexico.

While the mission itself was begun in the 1850s, this building in McCarty's was constructed in the 1930s, made of sandstone to blend into the beautiful mesa it sits on. It includes two of these towers and forms a very picturesque scene for travelers on Interstate 40.

One of these days, I'll stop playing with this post-process technique...
