Just a photo of a bunch of coins laying on a table? Kind of what I thought when I looked at the thumbnail. Naw, somebody wouldn't do that and call it a photo, I thought. But I had to look.
And once I did, I realized it wasn't what I thought. The photo really turns out to have pretty deep meaning. All of the quarters were arranged close together, heads up and facing in one direction (I hadn't even looked at the title before then). And then the penny, facing not only the opposite direction but seemingly separated from the "crowd".
Wow, that is what makes this a photo have a lot of meaning, portraying that "isolation" of certain "different" people through the use of coins.
