Well, I've had a close look at this, and I can't think of any definite way that you could have made it any better.

The subject (the tree) was used very effectively as an anchor to the scene and to infer a sense of scale - well done on that - and on NOT making it central in the frame (I haven't seen any of your other pics, but given this, I'm guessing you're not a 'newbie' to photography, even so please pardon me if I appear patronizing at all as I continue). The light, though harsh, was just right (and from the perfect angle) to show off the textures in the ground. Its tempting to suggest that you could perhaps have gotten a little bit lower down such that there's a small gap between the lower branches of the tree and the horizon, but that would really be nit-picking.

One wonders if the image would have been improved if there was more activity in the sky? That would have done away with the empty space on the top-left, but, like I say, would that have added or subtracted from the image? I'm inclined to think its better as it is. Besides, you can't 'make' clouds, can you? :)

Excellent work, in my opinion.
