Lovely capture of the Monarch. I missed them this year. I was hoping to get a good picture of some, but that did not happen. Thanks for sharing yours. I really lie the background--it compliments the butterflies very well.

Yeah it was a tricky shot, couldn't really come in from a couple of angles due to the light. The little guys kept flapping and rotating on me. The dark bodies and the dark earth also made focusing particularly nasty.
Well since you wanted for me to mess around in PS, I did... I took out a couple a distractions, left the colour alone though. Tell me watch ye think.

Very good capture, Geoff, I like the angle. You probably to close :) my suggestion if you can take the green leafs out and clone some of the blur it might be more effective.
