About	I was rummaging through the garage today and found this. My favorite baseball bat. Well, actually, it is my favorite softball bat. Baseball is played with a hardball. The regular ball people think of when baseball is mentioned. I think I have posted an image of one or two over the years. A softball is nearly twice the size of a hardball and is called a soft ball because it gets a bit soft and mushy when it is hit often and with some force. Yes Gabe, why is it called soft when it is so hard? Because eventually is becomes like a stuffed mushroom. Anyway, back to ME. This is the handle of my favorite bat. I have not used it in a game for nearly 15 years. I have not hit anything with it for almost 2 days. I took a pocketful of golf balls out to my side yard and tossed them up then gave them a "whack" with the bat... just to see if I still had the eye/skill... I tossed up 8 golf balls and hit every one of them. 4 well over 150 meters ( 500 feet or so) I will not lie to ya... it felt good to have a bat in my hands again after so many years. The handle of my favorite bat. Ohhhhh..... the softball stories it could tell...

That's what others have tried to say... only because my lifetime average was around .500. The slick black tape was allowed as long as it was not covering the primary gripping portion. Had to be athletic tape there.
