Hi Russel!
The red blocks are painted concrete blocks in front of the office building that I was working for about a year in St. Gallen, Russel. They have many many pieces of arts in that part of the town, which I will be soon posting some shots of. The ellipses are in fact yellow painted circles on the pavement, but taken under such an angle that they look like ellipses.
