soapbox time.. as long as the idea in your head always exceeds what your able to do, but strive to do isn't that a good thing?

to me finesse does not win over feeling. I am now 40 and toying with the idea of a couple classes :-). All the movies I watch, don't they do that in Art School?

It wasn't bad, but this is the imagery I had in my head when I went to see it. What he did with the fog sniffing out the lights, was creepy. What ruined it for me is when the guys did their fake "Horseman" it looked just like the real one and it destroyed the illusion that had been created for me, kind of like showing me the strings I didn't want to see.

Have you seen "Corpse Bride"? That to me is one of his best so far.

I know what you mean. I was so looking forward to Burtons vision there... and it wasn't BAD
It's fun, this Mark! Snapping with out worrying my head about composing which I despair about, it's like learning to read as an adult, I wish I'd done art at school. Still Burton would have arranged things in the frame with more finess Such is the trade off atmosphere for structure.

Reminds me of Sleepy Hollow, how it should have felt in the movies.
